Take the D902 linking Bourg-Saint-Maurice to Tignes / Val d’Isère. At the hamlet of La Thuile, in the commune of Sainte-Foy de Tarentaise, turn left towards Station - Bon Conseil, then continue towards Bon Conseil and park in car park P3 or car park P2. Large car parks where spaces are readily available during the summer months.
(S/E) From car park P3, take the path leading uphill towards the City Stadium and the treetop adventure course, following the signs for Belvédère or La Cascade.
(1) At the junction, continue along the path towards L'échaillon – Le Monal – Le Clou – Le Chenal.
(2) Turn right, heading down towards La Cascade - La Raie.
(3) Take the path on the left, which leads uphill, towards La Cascade – Belvédère La Raie.
You’ll arrive at the La Raie Waterfall viewpoint, where you can climb up to get even closer to this magnificent waterfall. Picnic tables and benches are also available for a break.
(4) Return via the same route to the junction where the walk began.
(1) Take the path on the right, signposted Station Bonconseil - Plan Bois, to return to the village, then follow the main road, Route du Grand Bois, to reach the car park (S/E).
