Park in the Relais Nature du Delta de l'Eyre car park on the D650 between Le Teich and Lamothe.
(S/E) Go to the junction with the cycle path. Leave the cycle path and continue along the path until you reach the banks of the Eyre.
(1) Continue along the path through the forest, following the river to the Pont de Chevron.
(2) Cross the footbridge over a branch of the Eyre and continue for about 200 m until you reach a crossroads.
(3) Take the path on the right and continue straight ahead through marshes and salt meadows until you reach another crossroads.
(4) Turn right and rejoin the banks of the Eyre until you reach a crossroads.
(5) Turn right and continue along the path, keeping to the left until you reach a footbridge.
(6) Cross and continue along the path until you reach a gravel road.
(7) Continue along this road, passing the water sports centre, the port and then the horse farm until you enter Villetorte and reach a crossroads.
(8) Turn left, then left again after 100 m. Pass the stadium and continue along the cycle path until you reach two paths on the left. Leave the cycle path by turning left, take the path on the right and continue keeping to the right until you reach a T-junction.
(9) Turn left along the fenced plot and continue, keeping to the right, until you reach the cycle path that runs alongside the D650 until you reach the Relais du Delta car park (S/E).
a very beautiful walk that takes you through woodland, salt marshes, a pretty harbour and finally a kind of meadow. Just be careful when you leave the salt marshes: don't turn left towards the car park, but continue straight ahead to reach the harbour
