Loop of the Cavillore Plateau in Gourdon
The Cavillore plateau hike is a loop along historic paths with a troglodyte fortress hidden in the cliff, a Roman road and the former priory of Saint-Vincent. Throughout the route, you will enjoy magnificent views of the coast and the village of Gourdon. This circuit is a variation of hike no. 1337911, "Plateau du Col de Cavillore". The route is unshaded and easily accessible, even for paragliders flying overhead.

Cavillore Plateau and views over the Gourdon hills
From the mountain village of Gourdon, this surprising walk invites you to discover the Cavillore Plateau. During this circular walk in the hills above the village – listed as one of the “most beautiful villages in France” – the views are stunning, overlooking both the valley and the village itself. And as we’re in alpine pastureland, you might spot a Patou dog along the way, ready to proudly defend the flocks: a genuine mountain atmosphere guaranteed!

The 4 Baous Circuit
A magnificent walk offering numerous views of the sea, the Var valley, and the coast with its various towns, headlands and islands (with a bit of luck, you might spot Corsica, Sainte-Victoire and the Mercantour peaks). However, this walk is challenging due to its length and elevation gain, and is therefore only suitable for fit walkers.
