Go to the village of Saint-Rémy (70160) and park in the church car park.
(S/E) You will find the starting point sign with a map of the hike and the location of the various information panels. The hiking trail is fully marked. Footprints show you the way to the first sign and then through the village.
(1) Once you have left the village, take a white path towards the forest.
(2) Once in the forest, follow the yellow markings, which will guide you to a path in front of you that will lead you to the various educational panels.
At signpost no. 4, take the small path downhill. At the end of this narrow path, turn right onto a grassy path. Follow the path to the pond (signpost no. 5) and then continue straight ahead.
(3) The path then climbs up to your left. After sign no. 6, continue straight ahead then turn left to reach the end of the path, which leads to a small tarmac road
(4). There is a picnic table available for your use at this location. Then take the first path downhill on your right, which will take you to sign no. 7.
(5) As the path is not finished at this point, you will need to go back up a path on your left after the sign. Once you are back on the tarmac road, turn right!
After signpost no. 8, you can take the alternative route that branches off to the left and is also signposted.
The main trail continues straight ahead, then takes the path on the right. After sign no. 9, you can go to the viewpoint, which is indicated and will be on your right.
(6) The route returns to the forest and continues straight ahead to signpost no. 10.
(7). Then turn right, and after a few metres, turn left and then left again. The path slopes down and takes you across a road.
(8). The path continues straight ahead and leads you to signpost no. 11.
(9) Going down this path, turn onto the path that goes up to your left. Then follow the route on the main path, which will take you to the last two signs and then to the road going up to Saint-Rémy.
(10) Take it on the right. Once you arrive in the village, don't forget to stop at the viewpoint, which offers a breathtaking view of the Superbe Valley.
Then head to the car park at the foot of the church (E).
