Park in the town hall square in Salmiech.
(S/E) Take the D63 towards Cassagnes. Cross the Céor and, immediately afterwards, you’ll come to a crossroads marked by a cross.
(1) Turn left onto a wide track which forms part of theGRP®® ‘Grand Tour des Monts et Lacs du Lévézou’, signposted in red and yellow. You’ll come to a hairpin bend.
(2) Turn left onto a farm track leading to La Borie. On leaving the hamlet, carry straight on, still following theGRP®®, until you reach another hairpin bend.
(3) Keep to the left on theGRP®® and head for the hamlet of Peyrelevade. After passing a granite ‘mushroom’ – formed by stacked stones – turn left onto a sunken track which rejoins the small road leading to the D25.
(4) Before the junction, turn right onto a path lined with hazel bushes leading to Brès. Leave theGRP®® and its markings here to go round the hamlet, cross the D25 with care, and take the Arvieu road opposite. You’ll reach another junction at the bend to the right of the road.
(5) Continue straight on along a grassy path leading down towards the Pont de Brès and rejoin the GRP®® here.
(6) After the bridge, 100 m on, turn left then take a sharp right along a path to La Pougétie.
(7) Follow the track straight on, then take a path that branches off to the right and climbs up to the Puech de las Fourques and on towards the D 641.
(8) Turn right onto the D 641, then left onto the track leading to the Peyralbe farm. Go round the buildings on the left and take the small road on the left to rejoin the D 641.
(9) Follow it to the right towards Salmiech and continue towards the church of Saint-Amans after carefully crossing the D25.
(10) Carry on straight ahead along a path that descends to Le Céor and the Moulin de Rodes, then return to the junction you passed on the way out.
(1) Take the small road you used on the way there to return to the car park at the town hall square (S/E).
