Depart from the Loire-sur-Rhône swimming pool car park, parking on the south side to leave space for pool users.
(S/E) Turn right and go up Montée des Pérouzes. Take the first road on the right, Rue du Savot, then turn left. Finally, go down the path on your right and continue straight ahead.
(1) Cross the first stream, the Morin, over the small bridge. Continue along the pleasant path that runs alongside the stream. Cross it again.
(2) Then take the path that climbs up on your left. Take the next path on the right, continuing to climb, and join another path by keeping to the right.
(3) You will arrive at a road and a wayside cross. Continue straight ahead and follow the road around a water reservoir. Continue along the road and, at the top of the hill, take the path that descends to your left, passing a house.
(4) A little further on, take the road that descends to the right. Follow the road downhill, then take a hairpin bend to the left to reach your second stream, the Rolland.
(5) Ford the stream and climb up the opposite bank. Follow the path alongside the woods on your left. At the next intersection, turn left. Ignore the first path on your right.
(6) Take the second path on your right, following the small wood, and continue until you reach a road, which you follow to the left. At the Y-junction, turn right and continue on this road, climbing up to the next junction.
(7) Then take the road on the left and shortly afterwards go straight ahead, keeping to the left. Go around a house with a swimming pool on your left (the house is on your right) and follow the path that takes you to your third stream, the Sifflet (just a small pipe).
(8) Shortly afterwards, on your right, continue up the steep road to an abandoned building. Go around it, turning left, and continue straight ahead on a slight incline until you reach the D502 road. Continue straight ahead for about 100 metres.
(9) On the right, you will see a well-equipped picnic area where you can take your lunch break. You will have a panoramic view of the Alps, the Chartreuse and the Vercors in the background.
Then take the path on the left that passes in front of a car park and a second picnic area. Continue straight ahead along a field and on the right, along the D502, you will see a memorial to the gathering of the Givordins resistance fighters in 1944 (you cannot see it from the path).
(10) When you reach the woods, take the path on the left, continue for a few metres, then leave a path on your right and, further on, another on your left. When you reach a Y-junction, take the left-hand path and turn right at the next junction, then left shortly afterwards. The path will then take you to a road. Turn right.
(11) Then immediately follow the path that descends to the left of the road. Follow it for a while and take the first hairpin bend on your right. Continue until you reach a small stream lined with trees.
(12) Follow this stream downhill on your left. Continue straight ahead until you reach a larger road, which you take to the left. You will then arrive at a road that you follow to the right downhill.
(13) Cross the Sifflet stream again over a graffiti-covered bridge. Follow the road uphill to the next intersection with a wayside cross and four roads.
(14) Take the road that climbs furthest to the left, then after a bend, take the hairpin bend on your right. At the next intersection, take the path on the left.
(15) You will arrive at a path that you follow to the right, then at the next intersection, turn right again. Follow a motorbike and mountain bike track. Continue along the path that turns left along the slope.
(16) At the next fork, keep left and descend. Continue along the path and take the steeply descending gravel path on the left. You will arrive at a ford crossing the Rolland stream.
(17) Cross it and continue on the road to the right, passing a tile factory. At the crossroads, turn left and follow the Pérouzes uphill.
After a left turn, you will return to the swimming pool car park, your starting point (S/E).
