Once you have rejoined thePR® andGR® trails, turn left and continue along this small road, which turns at a right angle opposite a car park (viewpoint over the Étang de Trunvel lake). Cross the small village of the same name and continue along a stony path to reach a bird observatory on the left. Take the time to climb up and observe the birds on the pond (free access).
(5) Continue along the path between two hedges of thorns and arrive near a protected area with an information panel about a bird that is particularly monitored on this site: the aquatic phragmite. Continue along the new pontoon that allows you to pass through the reed bed and arrive at the junction with a small road.
(6) Turn left for a return trip to the seashore. There is a wide view of Audierne Bay with Pointe de la Torche on the left, a popular spot for surfers.
(6), turn left onto a grassy path that runs alongside the Étang de Kergalan. In winter, this path can be very wet and even impassable in places (an alternative route is provided in this case, see practical information). The path overlooks the lake, which is partly hidden by a large reed bed. The sea is not always visible, but its sound accompanies us. Continue with a view of the village of Plovan on your left.
(7) Turn right towards the Rundavid farm. Please note that the route on the map leading to a footbridge is incorrect. Crossing the bottom of the pond is no longer permitted. Turn left at Rundavid and you will reach a small road.
(8) Follow this stretch of road to the left towards Lesmenguy and continue along the path that turns right at the three-way junction.
(3) Take the same path back down to the bridge.
(2) Turn left and you will reach a grassy platform where you leave theGR®34.
