(S) Depart from the Saulny community centre on Rue de Metz. With your back to the community centre, cross at the pedestrian crossing and turn left up Rue de Metz.
(1) At the third crossroads after the roundabout, turn right onto Rue du Calembourg. At the end of the street, turn left onto a dirt track and continue for 150 metres. Turn right onto Rue du Pré Pierron and continue for 50 metres, then turn left onto Rue des Fraises. Turn right onto Rue de Plesnois and continue for 400 metres to reach the Croix de Vaux.
(2) Turn left onto a dirt road, go straight ahead and then take the second road on the right.
Continue along this path through the woods, which forms a loop, ignoring the paths on your left.
(3) At the crossroads (altitude 313), turn right onto a sloping road and continue straight ahead to reach Villers (Commune of Plesnois). Turn left onto Rue de Saulny, then left again onto Rue du Pigeonnier, which continues as a path that you should take to the right.
(4) Cross the D50B and continue straight ahead along Chemin de la Ferraille to arrive in Norroy-le-Veneur via Rue de Plesnois. At the D50, turn left at the bus stop and, once you reach Norroy church, turn left onto the path that passes behind the church, then return to Grand Rue.
(5) Turn left onto Rue du Fort, then after 30 metres, turn into the first road on the left, which passes above the church and leads to the cemetery in Plesnois.
(6) Turn right onto Route de Norroy for 80 metres, then turn right onto Rue Haute; continue straight ahead along Impasse de la Corvée and you will come to a sunken dirt track. Follow this path for 500 metres, then take the path on the left through the woods (be careful, the path is not very well marked). Follow this path uphill to elevation 313, where you have already passed.
(3) Take the main road uphill on the right and follow it straight ahead. When you reach a tarmac road at the gate to Fort Lorraine, turn left to join the D7 300 metres further on.
(7) Cross the D7 (watch out for cars) and take the first path on the left that descends towards Saulny, parallel to the D7. When you arrive in Saulny via Impasse des Raillus, pass in front of the forest house and continue straight down through the village via Rue de Briey.
(8) At the second pedestrian crossing, turn right onto Chemin des Ânes. At the end of the road, turn left onto Rue du Château, then turn left onto this road and, after 50 m, turn right onto Rue de la Petite Noue. Continue along this road until you reach the intersection with Rue du Moulin.
(9) Cross and take Chemin du Moulin opposite, which turns left at a right angle. Continue straight ahead (the boules pitch will be on your left), then continue straight ahead into Rue de Mallemat and continue straight ahead into Rue de Vigneulles (stay on the left-hand pavement).
(10) At the end of the street, turn left onto the path along the fence, which will take you back to the Saulny community centre.
