Park along Boulevard Lacave, on the south side of the village.
(S/E) From the car park, head towards Route de Condom and turn into the first street on the left, Rue de l’Olivier, towards the Coursiana gardens. After passing the entrance to these gardens, continue along a stony path until you reach a road.
(1) Turn right onto this road towards a farm (Beausoleil). After the farm, continue to the D41, Route de Condom.
(2) Turn left onto it for 200 m, then turn right onto a small road. Cross a junction and continue towards Bézian,PR®14.
(3) In front of the Bézian farm, continue along the stony white track. After this stony track, continue along a grassy path with yellow signposting and the sign “Sentier karstique”. Continue along a stony track until you reach a road.
(4) Turn left for 50 m, then veer right and follow the sign for “Sentier karstique”,PR®14, with yellow markings. Enter the woods and continue straight ahead along the path marked with yellow and Red Cross markings.
(5) At the junction with a path, turn right onto thePR® 12 orPR® 14, Route d’Artagnan. Continue along the sandy path until you reach a road. Take this road to the right for 200 m,PR® 12, Yellow Cross.
(6) Turn left into the woods via a path blocked to vehicles by a chain. Follow the stony path as it curves to the right. Go round the path blocked by a chain on the left to reach a wide path through the undergrowth,GR® de Pays. At the three-way junction, leave the paths marked with Red Cross and Yellow Cross on your left and take the karst path on the right. At the end of the woods, continue to the left, along the edge,PR®12.
(7) Enter the woodland and follow the yellow signposting,PR®12. On leaving the woodland, continue along the grassy path on the left until you reach a road.
(8) Turn left for 30 m then right towards the hamlet of Le Baqué. Before the last house in the hamlet, go down to the right between a hedge and a field, then continue down to the left after going round the house, following the yellowPR®14signposting, to reach a road.
(9) Turn right onto the road forming part of theGR®652to reach the village of La Romieu.
(10) Cross Boulevard Quintilla and enter the village centre opposite via the Porte de Rocamadour, then take Rue de la Fontaine to reach the main square. In the central square, with its arcaded houses, note the stone cats in the windows, a tribute to the legend of Angéline’s cats. To the right of the Tourist Office, take the small Rue du Puits, which leads to Boulevard Lacave, the starting point of the walk (S/E).
