Description of the walk

Park opposite Gonnelieu Town Hall.

(S/E) At the intersection of Rue de l'École, opposite the church,take Rue de Banteux on the left, then immediately turn right onto Grand Rue. At the end of this road, turn left onto Rue de Villers-Plouich and follow it for a few metres.

(1) Turn right onto Rue de Gouzeaucourt, then drive along the left-hand side of the D96. Continue along Rue de Gonnelieu at the entrance to Gouzeaucourt, ignoring the small turn-off on the left.

(2) At the stop sign, turn left onto Avenue du Général-de-Gaulle, then right onto Rue Jean-Moulin. At the end of this street, turn left onto Rue de Villers-Plouich, ignoring the two streets on the right and the alley on the left.

(3) At the junction with Avenue du Général-de-Gaulle, continue straight ahead and then turn left onto Rue de Villers-Guislain. Cross the old railway line.

(4) Immediately after the railway tracks, turn right onto Chemin de la Vallée du Bois-Gaucher. At the fork, take the grassy path on the left. This path, which turns left again, runs alongside the Gaucher woods and the military cemetery before ending at Villers-Guislain.
