Description of the walk

Park near the town hall in Boursies.

(S/E) From the town hall, on the main road , turn left and continue to the Chemin d'Inchy crossroads . Then turn left.

(1) At the junction with Chemin Vert, turn right. Ignore the road on the right and the two roads on the left. At the junction with Rue du Calvaire (Mœuvres), turn left and ignore the road on your right.

(2) At the Calvary, turn right onto Rue d'Inchy and ignore the two streets on your left. On the Grand'Place, turn left, then left again onto Rue d'en Haut. Cross the Canal du Nord bridge.

(3) Join Chemin de Halage and turn right. Follow the canal, pass lock no. 5 and then the bridge on Rue Cuquiche. Before the next bridge, turn left to join the D930.

(4) Cross the road, turn right and walk along the side of the road. Take care of oncoming traffic. Continue for about 700 m, ignoring the path on your right and then the one on your left.

(5) At the junction with Chemin de Demicourt, turn left. At the end, turn right towards Demicourt to join Rue de Mœuvres (Demicourt).

(6) Turn left and ignore the path on the right. At the junction with Rue de l'Abbaye, turn right and follow the path. Do not take the path or trail on the left. Continue straight ahead on Rue de Demicourt until the end.

(7) At the intersection with Rue de Boursies (Doignies), turn left, then right onto Rue de la Place, and right again onto Rue du Four. Leave the street on your left and continue to the D930.

(8) Continue straight ahead onto Rue du Hameau de Louverval. At the intersection (Louverval), turn right, ignoring the street on your right.

(9) At the junction with Rue de Quéant, turn left, then right onto Chemin de la Garenne. Then take the second path on the right and turn left at the end.

(10) At the Les Champs Dufossé intersection, turn right, then left onto Route Nationale (Boursies) to return to the starting point. (S/E)
