Around Haussy

Park in the car park next to the church in Haussy.

(S/E) Opposite the town hall, turn left onto Rue Roger Salengro, ignore the two streets and the alley on the right and the four streets on the left.

(1) Turn right onto the CR02. Further on, continue straight ahead on Chemin des Proies. Ignore the two paths on the right and left.

(2) At the three-way junction on Chemin des Proies, turn left onto Chemin de la Miette and continue to the D958. Turn left, stay on the side of the road and walk carefully.

(3) At the intersection with Chemin des Boeufs, turn right and pass the Rose Laitière. At the crossroads, take the paved road on the right towards Vertain, then turn right at the three-way junction.

(4) At the intersection with the grassy path, turn right, then at the end turn left and follow the Ruisseau le Harpies. Turn left, walk towards the water treatment plant and continue along Rue de Baudry (Vertain).

(5) At the three-way junction with Rue du Calvaire, turn right onto Place Irénée Carlier (church). Stay on this road and take Rue Philippe de Rubempré until you reach the last house on the left.

(6) At the intersection, before the last house, turn left. At the end, turn right.

(7) At the corner of the cemetery, follow the D942 to the right, taking the hard shoulder (be careful).

(8) At the three-way junction with the D942, turn left onto the VC14 and ignore the road on the left. At the intersection with the VC17, turn right and ignore the street on the right.

(9) At the three-way junction with Chemin de Romeries, turn right and continue to the end of the road. At the intersection with Rue du Général de Gaulle, turn right then left to enter Chemin des Uhlans. Ignore the streets on the left and right.

(10) At the C1 Rue de Vertain (Saint-Python) crossroads, turn left, then after the cemetery, turn left and right onto Rue de la Paix. At the intersection with Rue d'Haussy, turn left (church).

(11) At the Place des Anciens de l'AFN roundabout, turn right towards Cambrai, cross the Selle and turn right. Turn right onto Rue Victor Hugo and ignore the three streets on the left and the two alleys on the right.

(12) At the intersection with Chemin du Rotheleux, turn right and walk to the entrance to Vertain.

(13) At the intersection, follow Rue Lucien Bécar to the right. Then turn right onto Rue Pasteur. When it turns left, turn right.

(14) At the entrance to the municipal stadium, go through the yellow gate, walk along the field on your right and follow the red gravel path to the next yellow gate, exit and continue along Rue Louis Richard.

(15) At the intersection with Rue Célestin Deloge, turn left, ignore the street on the right and arrive at the church car park (S/E).

The route is easy but not signposted. The terrain is earth, grass, stones, paving stones and tarmac. Wear suitable footwear.
