Alpe il Laghetto - Rifugio Andolla

This day is punctuated by several passes. You will first cross the Passo di Campo, then the Passo Straciugo after the Laghi di Campo. At the Passo di Potimia, you will return to Swiss territory and cross the high plateaus that stretch to the foot of the Col d'Andolla. As you walk, you will be able to see the Weissmies and Pizzo Andolla. The Passo d'Andolla marks the entrance to Italy and the beginning of the descent into the Antrona Valley.

This walk is part of a multi-day hike: Fletschorn Tour

GTA and SFT red and white markings.

(S) From the Rifugio dell'Alpe Laghetto, heading west, begin the ascent of the Passo di Campo with caution as a short section is somewhat exposed.

(3) At the pass, enjoy the view of the peaks of the Bognanco Valley and the Zwischbergental, including the Weissmies. Begin the descent to the Potimia lakes, then the ruins of the chalets of the eponymous Alpe. Continue on this high plateau to Alpe Porcareccia at the junction with the GTA trail coming from Passo del Büsin.

(4) Cross the mountain pastures to reach a junction with a trail coming from the Zwischbergen valley just at the foot of the Passo di Andolla.
Begin the last climb of the day towards the Passo di Andolla (2,418 m).

(5) At the Col d'Andolla, turn into the Antrona Valley and walk to the Rifugio Andolla (E).
