Departure from the car park in the centre of the village of Dabo, near the church.
(S/E) Take Rue de la Zorn, heading west. At the first fork, turn right onto Rue du Ballerstein. At the second fork, continue right along the same street.
(1) After No. 29, turn left onto the path marked with a red disc. The path descends gently through a magnificent pine forest.
(2) Cross a track and continue on the Red Disc marked trail. At the next junction, continue straight ahead and descend into the Zorn valley.
(3) Cross a forest road and descend opposite towards the river (Red Disc). Cross the Zorn river and reach the Table de la Paie rock. Retrace your steps.
(3) Turn right onto the forest road (Yellow Triangle). Stay parallel to the Zorn river, ignore a path on the left and, at the next fork, turn right. Cross a tributary of the Zorn and, at the crossroads (Kleinmuhl), continue for a few metres.
(4) Take the path on the left that goes uphill. Stay on this path until you reach the Jaegerhof forest house. Be careful, the path often changes direction and is crossed by other paths, so stay on the blue disc markings.
(5) You will see the Jaegerhof forest house about a hundred metres to your right (information sign). Continue south-west on the forest road (blue disc) and go around the Hochkopf on the right.
(6) At the crossroads, follow the blue disc markings to the right (south-east). Pass at the foot of the Salzleckkopf.
(7) Then turn right (south), still following the blue disc markings. Head east and pass at the foot of the Langhardtkopf to reach the Croix du Loup.
(8) Continue along the forest road to the left, north-east then north (blue disc).
(9) At the hunting lodge junction, turn left onto Rue du Zimmerfeld. At the fork, go left.
(10) Follow Rue des Pins to the left and, after a few metres, turn right onto the path that descends towards the village cemetery in Dabo. Turn right at the cemetery and head for the car park near the church (S/E).
