(S/E) Place de l'église de Vareilles. When leaving the car park, turn right into Rue de l'Église. At the first crossroads, turn left and take Rue du Prieuré.
(1) Cross the Vareilles stream over the small bridge and follow the path. Turn right onto Rue des Près and continue for about 300 metres until you reach Ferme des Prés.
(2) Continue straight ahead for about 750 metres. Turn right and continue for 600 metres, passing over the Vareilles stream and the Saint-Léger stream.
At the tarmac road, turn right and head back up towards the village.
(3) Pass in front of the Source Saint-Léger and continue for about 400 metres. Cross the road leading up to the cemetery and take Rue de la Croix Bressée opposite.
At the end of this street, turn left and head up towards the forest.
(4) Pass in front of the courthouse.
(5) At the Calvary, take the path on the right. After about 50 metres, turn right and continue for 800 metres. At the end of this path, turn right to reach Rue des Sources. Go around the bîme (karst in the chalk massif).
(6) Turn right and follow Rue des Sources to the left until you reach Rue de l'Érable, which you take to the left.
Leave the Ferme des Sources farm on your left, cross the Ru de Vareilles stream, turn right immediately afterwards and follow the stream on its left bank.
(7) Pass in front of the Saint-Rémy mill and continue straight ahead for about 500 metres. Turn right onto the road after the calvary and go down to the town hall.
Turn left and head towards the church (S/E).
