Sartorius Mountains in the Mount Etna Massif
A gentle wander north of Etna (a few kilometres at low altitude), offering a glimpse of the terrain and its vegetation. The eruption that created the seven Sartorius crates dates back to the late nineteenth century, nature has partially returned to this area.
Lake Biviere in the Nebrodi mountain range
Hiking without technical difficulty in the forests of the massif of Nebrodi to Lago Biviere and passing by Lago Maulazzo. We constantly follows a more or less good track on the north and west slopes of Monte Soro, one of the peaks of the Sicilian mountains.
The Madonie Massif: Pizzo Carbonara
Pizzo Carbonara is the highest point of the Madonie massif, in good conditions it provides beautiful views of the sea and out to Etna.
Tour of Monte Cofano
A circuit near Trapani. A first part along the beachfront by the cliffs: a watchtower, a small chapel and a small cave, a “tonnara”. Then follows a small climb to head up a pass between Monte Cofano and marble quarries with beautiful views.
Circuit around the Zingaro Nature Reserve: Sentiero di Mezza Costa.
A walk without real difficulty around a circuit, with beautiful scenery and beautiful coves for swimming in the Zingaro Nature Reserve, situated between Scopello and San Vito Lo Capo in Sicily.
Lanzarote - La Graciosa, Southern loop
A small, friendly island at the northern tip of Lanzarote. There are no paved roads on the whole island, only tracks and paths.
A pleasant little port, beautiful beaches, and those on the east and south coasts are safe. Which explains why we chose to do a loop in the south of the island, to combine the joys of walking and the joys of the seaside.
Volcan Monte Corona to Lanzarote
A short tour to the Monte Corona ridge, discovering the volcanic landscapes of northern Lanzarote, its crops (vines, ...), the Malpais, the lava field to the East that slopes down to the sea.
Monte Corona is a volcano with a beautiful, typical crater with a red interior, contrasting with the dark grey exterior.
Beautiful views towards the Mirador del Rio and the island of La Graciosa and its smaller sisters.
Passage through the bodega is subject to authorization by the winegrower, so perhaps consider a tasting before you set off!

Fay sur Lignon - Lac de Saint-Front: a circular route between pine and beech trees
A pleasant walk through the forest, undergrowth and meadows, with the pretty, round crater lake of Saint-Front, the highest in the Haute Loire, as your destination. Views of Mont Mézenc and the Monts du Velay, and you will be on the edge of the summit of Les Roches, an ancient volcano which is a climbing site on its southern slope. The name of thePR® trail that we follow most often is "Entre pins et fayards" (Between pines and beech trees), which is very apt. We added the tour of Lake Saint-Front, as it was too tempting to resist.
Circular Ventographe at the foot of Mont Mézenc
This is a short circular loop in the Mezenc National Forest, from La Roche Pointue to Le Ventographe, passing by the peat bogs. Le Ventographe is a quirky object created by a DIY artist, placed on a ridge; it is the centre for transmitting messages to the wind, which are received further down by another equally quirky work of art!
