Between Lissieu and Chasselay, the Chemin de Machy walk is a quick round trip that allows you to discover Machy Castle and the surrounding countryside. The walk alternates between wooded and sunny areas.

This circular route of almost 5 km allows you to discover the heights of Saint-Marcel-l'Éclairé and enjoy the view over the entire valley. The paths at the edge of the forest are very pleasant.

A trip to the heights of Ronzière in Saint-Forgeux offers a beautiful view of the valley.

A lovely circular walk through the Ruisseau de Poncet valley, passing through the Caro Blanc forest and the Vernettes Chapel. There are a few fairly steep climbs, but you’ll be rewarded with a lovely view halfway through the walk.

This short walk is a great way to discover this outlying neighbourhood of Dommartin and Marcilly-d'Azergues. You will pass through fields in a very peaceful area. Enjoy the view of the lower Beaujolais region and discover the little Chemin des Chouettes.

Visit the Chatillon-sur-Chalaronne arboretum, which features many different species of trees. You can also explore a pond teeming with dragonflies of various colours in spring. A short and pleasant visit.
