This short trip allows you to enjoy the forest, the beauty of the New Croton Dam and the waterfalls, but also to understand some of the infrastructure necessary for supplying water to New York City. Located about 35 km north of New York City, it was built between 1892 and 1906 to divert water from the Croton River to supply water to the city's many residents.

The path crosses magnificent flower-filled mountain pastures, dotted with the bells of Tarentaise cows. The flowers, marmots and rocks make for a varied and enjoyable hike. This short hike offers beautiful views of Mont Blanc, the Vanoise massif, in particular Mont Pourri, the pyramid-shaped Pointe de l'Aliet and Bellecôte.

Take a walk in the cool Montravail Rainforest, located in the hot and dry south of Martinique, which offers a unique atmosphere. The suggested route is dotted with picnic and rest areas, allowing you to explore the forest and the streams that run through it. The various trails, including the one suggested here, are dotted with monumental wooden sculptures that can be discovered along the forest road.

A magnificent bucolic walk in the Ria d'Étel, on the Locoal peninsula. It is also a historic site from the War in the Vendée, known for being the hideout of the Chouan Cadoudal. This walk is also very suitable for children.

The second stage of a 4-day walking tour around Mont Pourri. In the heart of the Vanoise National Park, this stage sets off from the Refuge du Mont Pourri and finishes at the Refuge de La Martin. This is the most rocky stage, passing through the highest point of the tour at the Col de la Sachette. It is also the longest stage, but offers a great variety of scenery and a good chance of spotting chamois.

The third stage of a 4-day hiking tour around Mont Pourri. In the heart of the Vanoise National Park, this stage sets off from the La Martin Refuge and ends at the foot of Mont Turia and the refuge of the same name. The route takes you past glaciers and small lakes, and passes close to the very picturesque village of La Gurraz. Breathtaking views of Mont Blanc and all the mountains stretching towards the Italian border.

The fourth and final stage of a 4-day circuit around Mont Pourri. In the heart of the Vanoise National Park, this stage sets off from the Turia mountain hut and finishes at the starting point in Les Arcs 2000. A walk past the Turia Glacier and the Grand Col, with small glacial lakes reflecting Mont Blanc. Blueberries, heather, forests and a gentle return to civilisation.
