Bouc-Bel-Air communal woodland
This moderately difficult walk takes you on a discovery of the Bouc-Bel-Air communal wood.
You will see typical houses. You will overlook the town of Gardanne, its slag heaps and factories, and catch a glimpse of Sainte-Victoire.
You will have the pleasure of getting some exercise while enjoying the forest and its scents.
Tour of the historic centre of Bouc-Bel-Air
This route takes you to the main tourist attractions and picturesque spots in the Provençal village of Bouc-Bel-Air. The walk is fairly easy, with only a slightly challenging climb at the end of the route.
Tour of the Bois de Bouc-Bel-Air via the marked trail
This variation of the Bouc Bel Air communal wood hike is a little longer but has the advantage of being marked with small wooden signs and coloured markings.
It takes you on a journey of discovery through the communal woods of Bouc-Bel-Air.
Refuge Cézanne from the Bouquet car park
A pleasant walk with views of La Croix de Sainte-Victoire.
The Bouquet car park can be busy during peak periods. It is therefore advisable to choose your timing carefully and not hesitate to set off early.
Stop off at the Cézanne refuge before setting off along a wide path through groves of young oak trees and well-maintained olive groves.

Around Bau Trauqua and Notre-Dame des Anges
Panoramic route, not difficult but quite long, on foot or by mountain bike around the Montagne de Bau Trauqua.
Views of the Aix and Gardanne region with Montagne Sainte-Victoire, then the picturesque villages of Mimet and Saint-Savournin, and finally a wide open view of the bay of Marseille, before heading north and approaching Notre-Dame des Anges.
Notre-Dame de l’Espérance Trail in Bouc-Bel-Air
This walk follows the signposted ‘Notre Dame de l’Espérance’ route, provided by the municipality of Bouc-Bel-Air as part of the‘Les sentiers nature’ guide. This route is very well signposted with blue signs. You should have little need to consult a detailed map or the Visorando app. The path is not suitable for pushchairs.
