Parking on the D17 at the Pont de l'Anchois bridge, in the hamlet of Le Bouquet in Saint-Antonin-sur-Bayon.
(S/E) From the car park, find the trailhead behind the information board. Climb up and then slide down to the left to join the path.
(1) Continue to the right.
(2) Here, at the fork, take the red trail on the right to reach the refuge. This will be the only real climb on the route. The rocks can be slippery. You may encounter mountain bikers.
(3) Take the time to have a drink and discover the origins of the Refuge Cézanne. Leaving the refuge, heading west, the wide path is almost flat for about 1 km.
(4) Turn sharply left, in a hairpin bend, towards the east. The path takes you gently to the fork you encountered on the way there.
(2) Turn right towards the car park area.
(1) As you approach the car park, check your location on the trail or map to leave the path to the left and reach the correct car park (S/E).
