(S/E) From the church square, cross the D205 and take Rue du Lavoir opposite, which heads south. Just before the right-hand bend, under the power line, turn left. Cross a stream and you will come to a road.
(1) Then turn right. At the next crossroads, turn right. Ignore the road on the right leading to the cemetery.
(2) At the crossroads (cross), turn left at an acute angle. After about 150 metres, take the path on the right that crosses the vineyards. At the end (elevation 78), turn right and continue straight ahead until you reach a road.
(3) Follow the road to the right for about 50 metres. At the crossroads, turn left at an acute angle and follow the D205. At the next crossroads, turn left. Then take the first road on the right.
(4) After about 100 metres, continue along a footpath. At the end, turn right and continue along this path, which further on turns right and leads to a road, Rue de la Mottelle.
(5) Turn left and then take the path on the right just after the houses.
(6) At the intersection with another path, turn left and walk alongside a vineyard on your left. At the end of the vineyard, the path turns right and then, further on, left. Shortly afterwards, at the T-junction (elevation 68), turn left.
(7) Cross the D117 and continue straight ahead. At the next junction (elevation 79), turn left. Then turn into the first path on the left. Walk alongside a wood on your right and turn right with the path.
(8) At the crossroads, take the first path on the right. Head north and ignore the paths branching off to the sides. Turn east, still ignoring the paths branching off to the sides.
(9) At the four-way crossroads, continue straight ahead and do the same at the next crossroads (marker 75). Then turn right and then left. Follow the path, ignore a turn-off on the left and turn right.
(10) At the intersection, turn right at an acute angle. At the end, turn left. Ignore a path on the right and continue to the D177.
(11) Cross the road and take the path opposite that leads diagonally to the left. Ignore a path on the left and, at the next crossroads, go straight ahead.
(12) At the next junction, turn right onto Rue des Moulins. Take the first path on the left. Once back on a road in La Maligny, turn left and continue to the junction with another road. Then turn right onto Rue de l'Ancien Commerce, then right again onto the D205 to return to the church in Les Ulmes (S/E).
