Start at the car park by the Your Nature visitor centre.
(S/E) Start the walk along the street leading to the centre (or, if you have access to the facilities, via the path that continues along the route leading to the swimming pool.
(1) Turn right at the first junction (gravel track).
(2) At the junction, follow the path leading off to the left (do not go through the gate unless you live at the centre).
(3) Take the farm track on the left (in spring, you’ll be followed by flocks of lapwings). At the next junction, turn left onto the path leading up towards the houses (the hamlet of Morlies).
Follow theGR®122to the new Pont-Royal and cross it over the Old Nimy-Blaton Canal.
(4) Just after the bridge, head down to the left to join the towpath and stay on it until you reach the Grand Rue.
Cross the street carefully and take the small footbridge over the old lock.
Follow the Grand Rue, keeping well to the right (the farm’s border collie might come over to say hello – don’t worry, he’ll run off and, if you’re keen, will come back for a stroke).
(5) After the farm, take the farm track on the right which leads back to the car park (S/E).
