In Saint-Gervais, there are shaded parking spaces near the cemetery and along a paved section of the old railway line. The small house you can see is a former gatekeeper's house.
(S/E) Head west along the old railway platform (built at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries). Immediately cross a three-arch bridge over the Argentor stream. Further on, near the Fontaine Sereine fountain, cross another bridge (note the well-preserved rainwater collection system under this structure).
(1) After about 1.3 km on the railway platform, leave it and take a dirt track that descends to the left. Immediately turn right and stay parallel to the old railway line, which is located above you.
(2) Take the first path on the left. Cross a stream via a wooden footbridge. You will come out onto a small road; follow it to the left (at the corner, you will see the ruins of an old mill).
(3) Take the first path on the left.
(4) At the next intersection, continue straight ahead. Walk east-southeast along the hillside, then descend slightly. After the Moulin du Courret, you will come to a paved road. Follow it to the centre of the small village and its church.
(5) At the war memorial, turn left onto the D177 and quickly reach the cemetery car park (S/E).
