Description of the walk

Meet at a place called Bois de Randat in Cellefrouin, on the D36, between Saint-Mary and Cellefrouin. At elevation 129, you’ll find a small stone building next to a car park.

(S/E) Start the walk by going round the back of the house heading south-east and continue until you reach a crossroads of paths.

(1) Continue straight on along the forest track until the next junction.

(2) Turn right twice, then carry on straight ahead, due west, to the D36.

(3) Cross it carefully and continue straight on, ignoring a junction and a path on the right. At the 140-metre mark, turn right and follow the main track. Ignore the turn-off to the hamlet of Chez Four and you will come out onto a local road.

(4) Turn right onto the forest track heading east and you will reach a cross-track.

(5) Turn right and continue straight on until you reach the D36, which you follow to the right until you reach the car park (S/E).
