A walk along the shores of the Urbinu peninsula

Park at the lake car park.

(S/E) Turn left after the restaurant to start the walk. The path runs along the shore to the headland, alternating between walking on stilts and through the vegetation. Walk between the bright light of the banks and the cool shade of the tamarisk trees and dense scrub. The scenery changes constantly: on the ground, mud, pebbles, seaweed, shells, small marl cliffs and humus; and towards the horizon, the lagoon, the inaccessible island, the mountains and the Pinia forest.

Make the most of the educational materials, produced by the Conservatoire du littoral, all along the route.
Reach the tip of the peninsula and take in the stunning panoramic view that unfolds across the entire Urbinu lagoon.

(1) Follow the same route back in the opposite direction to return to the lake car park (S/E).
