A circular discovery trail starting from Fals

Parking on the square in front of the village hall at the entrance to Fals coming from Agen.

(S/E) Walk slightly down the road towards the Fontaine de Fals and take Rue Aramis Corne on the left, which leads into the village. At the end of the street, you can make a round trip to the church, then walk past the town hall; note the beautiful communal well on the square to the left before leaving the village via the D204E road to the right. Pass by the foot of the water tower and continue along the road which crosses a wood.

(1) As you leave the woods, take the stony path on the edge to the right (Yellow Cross on the post opposite).

(2) After about 150 m along this path, at the end of the hedge on the left, turn onto the grassy path that descends between two fields.
When you reach the road, turn right at a place called Roques.

(3) On the descent, before a right-hand bend, turn left onto the road signposted Saint-Clémens or Tanon. Follow this road, which passes beneath the Saint-Clémens farm, then becomes a stony track that climbs into a wood and continues along a grassy path between two fields.

(4) At the top of the hill, when you reach a crossroads at a place called Mazères, turn right onto the tarmac road and then the stony path, marked with a blue arrow on the post.

(5) On the descent between two fields, when you reach a copse on the left, leave the blue markings and turn left onto the sandy track.

(6) When you reach the road, head left and follow this road to the junction with the D204 at elevation 131.

(7) Take the D204 opposite, towards Fals. Pass an old wash house at Fontaine Séourin, continue downhill and cross the bridge.

(8) Leave the D204 and take the stony path on the left, then turn right until you reach a house and a park (Jean Blanc), which you go round to the left, following the edge of the pond.

(9) There are two options:
- for a 8.2 km route, turn left to reach the village of Fals and the starting point (S/E).
- for the 8.6 km route, turn right then left to head down towards the D204, which then joins the D204E; take this to the left until you reach the starting point (S/E).
