This is a physically demanding hike. The ascent starts off steeply through woodland before passing a beautiful waterfall. There is a steep but secure section with a safety rope. You then reach a lovely mountain pasture. The route continues as a gentle climb to the summit. Magnificent views of the glacier – or rather, what remains of it. The descent follows uninteresting tracks suitable for vehicles.

A blue-rated cycle route in Austria. The climb is straight at the start, then the gradients increase. The entire elevation gain is covered in one go. At the top, there is a mountain restaurant. There are a few sections with hairpin bends.

Winter hike from Schatzberg down to beautiful Thierbach and back. The first section runs along the slopes of the ski area, but we soon reach the winter hiking trail, which is also open to sledges. The hike is of course also possible in summer.

Departure from Ratschings - Racines (South Tyrol)
This is a must-do circuit in the Ridanna Valley. This beautiful hike follows the Burkhard torrent at the bottom of the Ridanna Valley, near the old mines, climbing up towards the glacial cirque. The waterfall trail is well maintained, with wooden walkways, bridges and superb views along the way. The circuit passes by the Aglsbodenalm inn, where you can stop for a bite to eat during the summer. A pleasant and varied loop with magnificent scenery.
