Park along the D63 at the entrance to the hamlet of Drigas.
The trail for this hike is marked in yellow.
(S/E) Cross the hamlet heading north. At the cross, follow the left-hand path and turn left at the next junction.
(1) At the exit of the hamlet, leave the path on the left and then the one on the right: follow the path that continues north-east (yellow markings). At the next fork, turn left and follow the path to the highest point.
(2) Continue north, then north-east. Cross a plantation of Austrian black pines. At the end of the plantation, look down to the right for the hamlet of Le Buffre.
(3) At the T-junction, turn right. When you reach the hamlet, turn right again.
(4) At a magnificent stone cross, turn right onto Chemin de Saint-Guilhem. Continue south on the path marked in yellow.
(5) From a "lavogne" (a small depression designed to provide a water source for animals by collecting rainwater), head south-east, climb and cross another pine forest. Look out for a small stone shelter, called a "caselle", on the climb. Once past the hill (elevation 1054), descend towards the hamlet of Hures.
(6) At the entrance to Hures, just before the church, leave the yellow markings for a moment and continue south, skirting the church on the left and taking the small road that continues as a path, then turn left onto a trail that starts under the bushes. This will take you to the entrance of the karstic cave south of the hamlet.
(7) Retrace your steps back to the church.
(6) Follow the yellow markings, turning left twice. Follow the path due west. At a crossroads, continue straight ahead and then, at a fork, turn right. At the next crossroads (quarry on the right), take the second left and continue to Drigas. Turn left to return to the starting point (S/E).
