Description of the walk

Parking is available opposite the town hall in the village of Lortet.

(S/E) From the car park, keep the Neste river on your left and cross the bridge. Immediately afterwards, turn left. Follow the small road for about 200 metres, then take the path that slopes gently to the right and follows theGR®78(white and red markings).

(1) Leave theGR®78by taking a path that is not very visible but marked in yellow to the right. Follow it until shortly after the viewpoint at the summit cross of La Mayne.

(2) Take the path to the right which will lead you to Saint-Arroman. Cross a street, then take the second street to the right (D26) for 50 metres.

(3) At the cross, turn right again onto the tarmac path that climbs towards Guirau. The path is still marked. You will come out onto a tarmac road and continue to the right to reach the main street of Bazus-Neste (D278).
