GR®34, white and red markings
(S/E) Leave the car park on the left, walk along Guen Beach and join Avenue Léon Hamonet.
(1) Take the tarmac road on the left, then the first dirt track on the right. Follow the coastal path to Pointe de la Mare aux Rets: enjoy the view and the sound of the waves and the surf if the tide is high.
(2) Continue on your way, ignoring the paths on the left. You will reach the Notre-Dame-des-Bruyères-des-Coteaux-et-des-Bois devotional fountain, known as the Fontaine de Lourtuais. The fountain is famous for never running dry.
(3) Continue to Cap d'Erquy: enjoy the view, you can "almost" see America on a clear day.
(4) Resume the route on the coastal path, pass the small car park at Fossé Catuelan and follow the tarmac road to the old guardhouse.
(5) Leave the road and take the path on the right that leads to the old ballast kiln, visible from the car park.
(6) Continue towards the lakes and old quarries. You will reach the Petit Lac Bleu, formed in the excavations of the old quarry.
(7) Continue on your way to the Grand Lac Bleu, located about 150 m further on.
(8) Walk along the lake and then turn left onto the path to reach the Route du Four à Boulets.

(9) Turn left for about 100 metres, then take the path on the right (cycle path). At the next crossroads, follow the path on the right which leads to Rue de Plaine Garenne at a dirt car park.
(10) Immediately take the marked path on the left, continue for about 200 metres and then turn right onto it. Turn left and then right to reach Rue de la Côte des Pâques. Turn right again and continue to the crossroads.
(11) Follow the path on the left, called Chemin de la Côte du Haut Portuais.
(12) At the crossroads, turn left and then immediately right. Leave the Guen car park on your right and continue until you reach the GR®34 at Avenue Léon Hamonet.
(1) Turn right to return to the Plage du Guen car park (S/E).
