Circular route starting from the village of Les Hôpitaux near Erquy

Park in the hamlet of Les Hôpitaux in the small car park with 5–6 spaces.

(S/E) Take Rue des Mares, then turn right onto Rue Saint-Michel and left onto Rue des Landes d’en Bas. Continue along Rue de la Côtière Perrine to its end.

(1) Continue along the path leading down to the access point for Îlot Saint-Michel. Reach the car park at the edge of the coast.

(2) Take the path on the right running along the coast. Depending on the tide, you can walk across the beach and then reach the car park at Pointe du Champ du Port.

(3) Take the GR®34A here, following the red and white markings to La Roche du Marais.

(4) Keep to the right on the GR® and, via the Vallée Denis, head towards the Pont du Marais.

(5) Turn left here to cross the Ruisseau de l'Islet. Reach the other bank.

(6) Leave the GR® here and turn right onto the Yellow-marked path. Follow the right bank of the Islet. You will reach another bridge at Moulin de la Hunaudaye.

(7) Cross the Islet again, then make sure to take the path on the right. Please note: the path shown on the map running alongside the Islet is impassable (trees and undergrowth). After a short climb, turn left at the top towards Querbet and follow the wooded path to the Montafilan Dam.

(8) Walk alongside the dam for a few dozen metres, then turn right towards Rue de la Ville Ory. Follow it to the right, then continue along the path that follows it, passing to the right of two water towers. You will reach the junction with the Voie Verte.

(9) Take it to the right. A few dozen metres past the barrier, turn left heading due north onto the path to return to the car park in the hamlet of Les Hôpitaux (S/E).
