Walk along the banks of the Fecht from Ingersheim

(S/E) From the car park at Place du Souvenir Français in Ingersheim, take the path on the left, along the Fecht, to the metal bridge.

(1) Cross this bridge to reach the right bank of the Fecht, then turn left onto a long stretch shaded by the woods. You’ll come to a path; turn left towards a bridge.

(2) Without crossing it, continue along the narrow path that runs alongside the Fecht.

(3) Turn right onto the path which temporarily moves away from the Fecht and joins a road.

(4) Follow this road. At the junction, turn left and cross the Fecht. Continue to the first path on the left.

(5) Take this path, which leads back to the Fecht, and walk alongside a beautiful apple orchard.

(6) At the end of the orchard, turn left and continue along this path until you reach a Fork in the road.

(7) Turn left to walk alongside the Fecht once more.

(8) Keep to the path on the left which runs alongside the Fecht, and walk past the Schafgraben Pond.

(9) Turn right and walk round this children’s playground to reach the bridge over the Fecht.

(10) Take the path on the right, before the bridge, and follow the Fecht. Walk past the metal bridge to reach the Souvenir Français car park (S/E).
