Sur les traces des Impressionnistes à Auvers-sur-Oise

Start on Rue Marcel Martin at the Maison de l’Île car park.

(S/E) Leave the car park and turn right. At the end of the street, you’ll reach Rue Rajon.

(1) Cross the street and head opposite, then continue left onto Rue du Montcel.

(2) First turn left then right. Take the steps on the right to reach the church. Walk around it on the right.

(3) At the street, take the first turn left then right to go up to the cemetery and enter via the first path to see Van Gogh’s grave before exiting on the left onto Chemin des Vallées.

(4) Turn left at the exit and go straight on until Rue Daubigny.

(5) Turn left onto the street and, immediately, right onto Rue de Lery. Continue to Rue de Zundert.

(6) Cross at the pedestrian crossing and take Rue Victor Hugo opposite before continuing straight ahead. Keep slightly to the right at the bend before continuing straight ahead past the two roads on the right until you reach the third one on that side.

(7) First turn right then left to continue along Rue François Coppée, then left onto Rue Four to see the Maison du Pendu.

(8) Walk up the path, then at the top, keep left onto Rue des Meulières. Pass Rue du Gré on your left to reach a fork.

(9) Turn left and continue straight on until you reach the Y-junction.

(10) Turn left onto Rue Simone le Danois, then continue straight on until the first path on the left.

(11) Head straight on and, for a round trip, you’ll soon reach the old cave dwellings.

(12) Return to the previous junction.

(11) Turn right and cross the D4 with care to take Chemin des Bartagnolles, then continue straight on to the Oise.

(13) Turn left onto the Oise riverbank and follow the bank to the bridge.

(14) Take the steps on the left; at the top, keep left, then turn right to reach the car park (S/E).
