Park at the Bremendell car park. Access via the D3 then D35 between Obersteinbach and Sturzelbronn (Bitche road).
(S/E) Head north for a short distance, then at the signpost, turn left and follow the Red Ring towards Sturzelbronn (approx. 1 hour). After a short climb, turn left onto a wide path still marked with the Red Ring and follow it, keeping to the left at every junction until you reach a memorial plaque marking the spot where several soldiers lost their lives in 1940.
(1) At the bend, go straight on up the small slope, which is still marked with the Red Ring, and follow the path to the Kreuzberg Cross, with a view over Sturzelbronn.
(2) Walk back about 150 m, then take the path on the right down to Sturzelbronn (marked with the Red Ring).
(3) In Sturzelbronn, you will find a rock on your right with a few words about the abbey carved into it. Turn right (Green Ring markings) and follow the road to the campsite.
(4) Walk past the campsite and head straight up the path marked with a Green Ring/Yellow Cross. At the junction, take a path on the right, then a trail that climbs to the left (marked with a Green Ring). At the end of the trail, follow a wide path on the right, still marked with a Green Ring.
(5) At the three-way junction, continue straight ahead. Further on, ignore a path on the right and continue to a junction.
(6) Turn left towards Luchsfelsen/Ludwigswinkel, marked with a Green Ring. Follow this path until you reach a left-hand bend, where several paths cross.
(7) Continue left, then head down a path to the left a few dozen metres further on. Proceed to the next junction.
(8) Turn right onto a path that climbs, marked with a Yellow Ring. When you reach a wide path, follow it to the left towards Bremendell (marked with a Yellow Ring).
(9) Once on the tarmac road, follow it to the right (marked with a Yellow Ring) to the Bremendell car park (S/E).
