Park in the car park at Le Temple town hall.
(S/E) Head west, passing in front of the church. When you reach Rue de la Commanderie, turn right and immediately left onto Rue des Tisserands. Continue along this road for 900 m
(1) Once past the last factory, take a path on the right. After a few metres, a wide panorama opens up before you (signpost). The path turns right after a few metres, then very quickly left to go behind the sewage treatment plant. Then join the D149bis.
(2) Cross this road and follow the path on the left that runs alongside it. Take the first path on the right and follow it to the Laudonnière farm.
(3) The path leads onto a road, which you take to the right. At the next junction, turn left, pass under a power line and continue along the road to the village of La Chapelle Largeau.
(4) At the entrance to the village, turn into the first street on the right and cross the housing estate to reach the church.
(5) Walk past the church and, at the first crossroads, take the road leading down to the right. You’ll reach a wayside cross 300 m further on.
(6) You will come to three roads; take the middle one leading towards La Pierre Blanche. Follow the road to the end and continue along the path branching off to the left, until you reach a footbridge over the Ouin.
(7) Cross the river and follow the path that runs alongside a field before joining a wider path through the woods. You will reach the road at the hamlet of L’Escoubleau.
(8) Take the road on the right to the first junction directly beneath the power line. Then turn left and left again at the three-way junction, without passing under the power line, to reach the hamlet of La Chaîne.
(9) Turn right onto the road and follow it for 100 m until you reach two paths on the right. Take the first one, which goes downhill. Follow it until you reach another road.
(10) Turn left onto the road. After passing the hamlet of Le Linot, at the wayside shrine, take the path on the right that runs alongside a small stream. Join a small road just before the hamlet of Le Chapître.
(11) Follow the road to the left and join the D149bis, which you follow to the right to reach the village of Le Temple.
(12) At the entrance to the village, at a place called l’Arceau, cross the road and head through the housing estates to return to the starting point (S/E).
