Park in the car park at the Pont du Carteron in Cholet.
(S/E) Head west and follow the River Moine (on your left) for nearly 3 km. As you go, pass the Plessis tennis courts.
(1) Shortly after passing under a power line, take a footbridge to cross the Moine.
(2) At the junction just after crossing the Moine, take the mountain bike path on the left. At the top of the hill, turn right and take the bridge over the motorway.
(3) At the next junction, take the first road on the left towards “la Côte”. At the first bend (to the right), leave the road and continue along the path which goes straight on and runs alongside the motorway. Take the central lane (Allée des Merisiers) then, at the fork, turn right onto Allée des Ormes (not shown on the map).
(4) At the next junction, take the first right, Allée des Châtaigniers. Go round the campsite on the right and head towards Lac de Ribou.
(5) Once you reach the lakeside, turn right and follow the lake to the dam.
(6) Continue straight on, cross a small road and follow the Moine river, which is on your left. Cross a meadow and head up to the right onto the path running parallel to the tarmac road. Join the road and follow it to the right. Ignore a turn-off to the right and then one to the left, and you will come to a junction you passed on the way out, near the motorway.
(3) Then head down to the left towards the banks of the Moine (do not cross over the motorway). Turn right along the riverbank and go under the motorway.
(2) Turn left and cross the Moine via the footbridge you used on the way there.
(1) Turn right, follow the Moine (on your right) and, taking the same route as on the way there, return to the car park (S/E).
