The starting point is the car park upstream of the bridge leading to the village of Vieux Dun. This car park has a picnic area.
(S/E) Head towards the bridge, following the Cure on your right.
(1) Cross the bridge and follow the road towards Vieux Dun. When you reach the village, join theGR®13(white and red markings) and continue straight ahead until you reach a three-way junction.
(2) Turn right onto Chemin Loriot, keep right at the next intersection and continue downhill.
(3) Ignore the entrance to the property on the left, go straight ahead and immediately keep to the right. The path continues downhill, veers to the right and reaches a crossroads at a small pond on the left.
(4) Continue straight ahead, staying as close as possible to the stream, then cross it and climb up to a crossroads.
(5) Take the path opposite, which leads to the Étang des Rollets. Follow the path alongside the pond and continue in the same direction to cross the Ruisseau des Trois Rus.
(6) Continue along this path, following theGR® markings, until you reach a wide track.
(7) Continue straight ahead to begin the descent.
(8) When you reach Chaume aux Renards, continue straight ahead, still on theGR®13, walking alongside the buildings, cross the bridge over the Cure and you will reach a crossroads a few metres further on.
(9) Turn right, leaving theGR® trail, and continue along the road to cross the Îles Menéfrier.
(10) At the exit of the hamlet and the entrance to the forest, take the path on the right that leads you to the banks of the Cure.
(11) Walk up the valley along the river to the next crossroads.
(12) Keep to the right to stay on the riverbank and follow the Cure as it meanders before reaching the picnic area and the car park where you started (S/E).
