The hike begins at the Epinay-sur-Seine station (RER C from the Austerlitz station, direction Montigny Beauchamp).
If you come by car, you can park in Épinay-sur-Seine, near the station, and leave your vehicle at theother station (Cormeilles-en-Parisis) for the return journey, or take the train back to the starting point.
(S) From Épinay-sur-Seine station, turn left onto Rue Henri Perronet and follow it to the end.
(1) Take Rue de la Saint-Médard on the right, at the Pôle Musical Orgemont, then turn left onto Rue d'Orgemont. Pass the Stade Auguste Deloume with Rue des Provençaux, then enter the Jardin des Justes park on the left. Cross it to exit at the other end via Rue des Béarnais.
(2) Take this street, then turn right onto Rue des Basques and left onto Rue des Provençaux.
(3) Cross Rue des Gascons and continue straight ahead on Rue des Provençaux, then continue on Rue des Déserts. Go under the A15 tunnel.
(4) Turn left onto Rue d'Épinay and pass under the D311 bridge. Go through the stop sign, then take the next street on the right, Rue Gaston Monmousseau. Continue along Rue de Vaucelle.
(5) At the end of this street, turn right and continue for about 200 metres. After the bus stop, turn left and enter Parc de la Butte d'Orgemont. Cross the park on the left until you reach the crossroads.
(6) Turn left onto Rue de la Couronne d'Orgemont. You can visit the Moulin d'Orgemont mill on your right via Rue des Sables. Pass in front of the Orgemont clinic via Rue de la Couronne d'Orgemont.
(7) Turn right onto Rue Ernest Renan (view of the quarry) and turn right to cross it.
(8) Take the path on the left, which leads to Rue de la République. Turn right onto this street, then left, and left again onto Rue Ring Bella Negra.
(9) At the end of this street, turn left onto Rue de Code. Cross the railway bridge and, further on, take Boulevard Jean Allemane on the right, towards Sannois.
(10) At the roundabout, turn left and walk alongside the Volembert schools, taking a small path. You will come to Avenue de l'Espace. Follow it to the left and take Boulevard Youri Gagarine for a few metres.
(11) Turn right into Parc des Châtaigniers. Cross the park and exit via Rue du Petit Chemin du Bel Air. Turn left onto this street.
(12) Head towards Moulin Vert on the right for a few metres, then continue straight ahead at the "Sannois centre" sign, taking Chemin de la Sablière via the steps. At the end, turn left onto Rue du Clos Bois, then right onto Allée de Cormeilles. Continue along Chemin du Clos de la Fontaine, then take Rue du Cèdre on the left.
(13) At the A15 motorway, turn left at the edge of the woods, at the last houses on Chemin des Hauts Monts. Walk along the woods and houses, then take Chemin du Bois Trouillet on the left. Turn right and enter the woods, then turn right onto Chemin du Haut Val Conflans. Exit via Rue du Puits Comier on the left, continuing for a few metres.
(14) Make a hairpin turn to the right and go up into the woods, passing the Centre Équestre le Galop. Turn left onto the path that winds upwards and heads to the left.
(15) Turn right onto the D122, Rue de l'Hermitage, and continue to the roundabout. Turn left and immediately turn right onto a path called "les Plâtrières" and continue to another roundabout.
(16) Turn left at the Engie station on Chemin de Cormeilles in Franconville, cross the roundabout and pass in front of the Montfrais nursing home.
(17) Just after Rue du Chemin d'Argenteuil, take a path on the right that leads to the Montfrais Equestrian Centre, then to a road on Chemin des Cotillons. Take this road on the right for 50 metres.
(18) Turn left into the woods. Cross Chemin des Rommes and continue straight ahead along Chemin des Rinvals. You will come to a road. After the last house, before reaching the A15 motorway, turn left into the undergrowth.
(19) At the right-hand bend, take the path on the left into the Bois de Saint-Marc. Continue on the left and you will arrive at the Route Stratégique.
(20) Turn right, cross the roundabout and continue straight ahead, then take the third street on the left, Fort de Cormeilles. Pass the Stade Municipal Gaston Frémont, continue straight ahead and you will come to a road. Ignore it and continue on the right into the woods.
(21) Take a path on the left, passing the first houses. Cut across Rue de Montigny and continue straight ahead on Sentier Fontaine Saint-Martin. At the crossroads, turn left onto Rue Émile Zola, then left again onto Rue Paul Leboucher.
(22) Turn right onto Rue du Val d'Or, then left onto Boulevard Clemenceau and right again onto the path that leads to Cormeilles-en-Parisis station. (E)
