(S/E) Opposite the town hall, take Rue des Écoles, passing to the left of the building, then once you have passed the retirement home, turn right into Rue Bragigous towards the car park.
(1) Turn left at the end of the car park onto a path between the fields and then join a small tarmac road, which you follow to the left for 200 metres.

(3) Continue straight ahead along a wide path, leaving Charbonnière on your right. You will reach a crossroads.
(4) Ignore the paths on your left and go around the hill of Les Bouches, located on your right. You will arrive at a house in Les Bouches.
(5) After passing it, take the wide path that joins the D263 road.
(6) Turn right and follow this road for a few hundred metres, then take a road on your left, near a house. Cross the hamlet and continue to a crossroads marked by a cross.
(7) Turn right and continue along a path up the hill until you reach a small road.
(8) Cross it, take a path opposite that climbs up the hillside and arrive at the junction with a forest road.
(9) Turn right, pass the Col de l'Épine and walk along a wide forest track, passing to the left of Mont Juliau (487m). After two kilometres, you will arrive at a crossroads.
(10) You will then be treated to beautiful views of the village of Alba-la-Romaine and the Coiron plateau. The path descends quite steeply to the right into the forest and joins the vineyards at the bottom of the plain. This area of Alba is called Chantelauze, which means "the field of the lark". This name is often given to fields facing east, as the lark is the bird that sings at daybreak.
(11) Continue straight ahead along the road between the vineyards, then join a small tarmac road that takes you back to the village of Alba-la-Romaine (S/E).
