Departure from the town hall in Alba-la-Romaine.
(S/E) Head down towards the post office and turn left onto Rue du Barry. At the fork, turn right onto Route de la Calade.
(1) After passing a school and coming out of a hairpin bend to the right, leave the road and take a path on the left. Walk along the left bank of the River Escoutay and follow it as closely as possible until you reach the entrance to the hamlet of La Roche.
(2) Enter the hamlet through the Trappe gate and, immediately afterwards, turn left into a narrow street (Rue de la Tour). Cross the village, taking the left-hand lane at each intersection. Go through the Bressac gate and immediately turn left, then right.
(3) Cross a road and take Chemin du Meunier opposite. Cross another road and continue on the path opposite.
(4) At the fork, turn left onto a wide dirt track and follow the Escoutay again. After about 1.5 km, you will arrive near the hamlet of La Condamine.
(5) Take the path that climbs to the right and makes a hairpin bend to the right. Further on, this path descends to the left towards the Condamine stream. Turn right and climb up the stream valley. Pass through the hamlet of Le Peysset.
(6) At the intersection, turn right (north) and descend to reach the Bourdary stream. Cross this stream, come out onto a road and follow it to the right for about 200 m.
(7) Then take thefirst path on the left. At the next crossroads, turn right onto Rue des Bragigous. At the end, turn left and you will soon reach the town hall (S/E).
