Departure from the car park, Chemin de Marsac in Aubignas.
(S/E) From the car park, head towards the village centre via Rue des Écoles. Before reaching the small square at the entrance to the village, turn right and go down Rue de la Tour to the fork.
(1) Continue straight ahead on the tarmac road for 300 metres, then, shortly after a small bridge over the Ruisseau de Thieulat, at the crossroads, take a gravel path on your left, which you leave 200 metres further on to take a small path on the right. This path winds upwards and arrives near some ruins, offering a beautiful view of the village of Aubignas and the surrounding mountains.
(2) Continue left on the path that runs along the edge of the plateau to the Larein intersection.
(3) After the ruined house, turn left onto theGR®42(red and white markings), pass under the power lines and arrive at a fork.
(4) Continue left to Les Audouards.
(5) Leavethe GR® and take the road on the left towards Peyrole, passing under the power lines again.
(6) Pass in front of the Peyrole farm (16th century). At the end of the meadow, at the large tree, turn left (barrier) onto the signposted path that descends through the woods towards Le Thieular. This will take you back to the junction you passed on the way out.
(1) Turn right and follow the same path back to the car park (S/E).
