Departure from the Maison de la Ruralité located behind the Pole Éducatif, accessible via the Route de Cerre (D26). Park in the school car park.
The route is marked with green rabbit silhouettes.
(S/E) Head towards the D26 and, at the bend, take the path on the right. Along this path, you will find information panels dedicated to deer and wild boar, as well as a display dedicated to forest animals. Continue until you reach the edge of the woods.
(1) Enter the meadow on the right and walk for about 150 metres.
(2) At the fork, the second information panel offers a nature quiz. Continue straight ahead, then turn left and, after observing the pheasant sculpture, walk to the information panel dedicated to hedgerows. A rabbit sculpture is hidden nearby.
(3) After the boundary marker, continue left to the Champfleurey Cross. Follow the path that curves to the right and then to the left and leads to the beehives.
(4) Head towards the conservation orchard on the right. At the end of the path, you will find a boundary marker and its sculpture. In the orchard, brush up on your knowledge with the information panel on fruit trees. Leave the conservation orchard and head for the fallow land. You will find a new information panel dedicated to the wildlife characteristic of this environment. Take the path on the left and continue straight ahead. Along the path, you will find several animal sculptures and a marker dedicated to foxes. Enjoy the view, then, after passing a marker dedicated to orchids, you will reach the last information panel, which focuses on dry grasslands. You will come back to the crossroads you passed on the way there.
(2). At the crossroads, turn right and follow the same route back to the Maison de la Ruralité (S/E).
