(S/E) Parking and starting point: the car park at Calmoutier church square.
From the church, take the main road leading uphill to the right.
(1) Leave this road and turn left into a street between the houses.
At the junction, 10 metres further down, take Rue de Colombotte.
(2) Just before the house, turn left down a path that runs alongside the Colombine, then veers away from it. Pass under the power line and stay on the edge of the Bois de la Craye. After 1.8 km on this path, you will reach the first houses of Colombotte.
(3) Enter the village, passing the town hall. Follow the road to the right until you reach the village exit.
(4) Then turn right onto the tarmac track through the fields for over 1 km; to do this, ignore the tracks to the right and left. When the track passes between two woods, ignore the track to the right and then the track to the left, and continue slightly downhill.
(5) Turn onto the path on the right (almost at a right angle). Follow this through the fields. It will then become a road leading back to the starting village and its church (S/E).
