Start: Small road north of Lac de Mabille, near the swimming pool.
(S/E) Take the path between the swimming pool and the shore of the lake. Follow the path along the eastern shore of the lake. Find the GR3 (white and red markings). Continue on the path that descend to the bottom of the dam.
(1) Turn left and follow the GR3 (white and red arrow) down the valley to the road D17, which you follow for about 50 metres.
(2) Cross the road, leaving the GR3 continue north-west and take the passage under the railroad line. At the next fork in the road, turn right into the village of "Petit Brossais".
(3) At the hamlet, turn right and cross the tarmac road to take the opposite path. Pass under a high-voltage power line and reach a road which you follow to the right. Then turn left towards "l'Ile"; the path enters the marshland.
(4) Turn left. Pass under the high-voltage power line again, then follow the small road to the right. Pass Lambais.
(5) At the crossroads, turn right towards "Les Rives". Continue straight ahead through the marshes.
(6) After the second footbridge, take the path on the left, continuing until you reach the D93.
(7) Turn left. Rejoin the D17. Turn right, then immediately left to go up to "La Goupillère".
(8) In the village, turn left, then right into the street. Turn left again onto the one-way road. Take the second path on your right and walk up towards the dam.
(1) Go left up to the lake, following its western shore (do not take the same path as before). At the end, turn right onto the road and return to the starting point.(S/E)
