Description of the walk

Park in the Champ de Foire car park, near the Chapelle de Berven, on the south-east side, level with the Foyer Antoine Caill.

(S/E) Take the path that starts at the opposite corner of the church, for 200 m. Ignore a road, then take the left-hand turning and cross the Leurvéan housing estate. Reach the main road.

(1) Carefully cross the D788 into Avenue Louis Le Lez, then follow Rue de la Lande on the left to the first track on the right (before the first house on the right).

(2) Take this path and, when it reaches a tarmac road, turn left. At the stop sign, turn right onto Route de Tréflaouénan. Continue as far as the first bend on the left.

(3) Fork right onto the dirt track that leads to Keramanach (this first part of the route will also be used on the return journey).

(4) Turn right onto the road leading to Coumou.

(5) At the bottom, take the gravel path on the left. Go down to the right as far as the river, walk alongside it and then go up to a tarmac road at the first track.

(6) Turn right downhill towards the village of Tréflaouénan. After the church, turn left and drive past the school. As you leave the village, turn right towards Plouescat Cléder. At the bend in the road to the right, turn left onto the gravel path as far as the crossroads.
(7) Take the left-hand path through the hamlet of Kerzournan. At the bottom of the village, take the track on the left that follows the river. Cross the road and, after 50 m, in the hamlet of Kerdrein, take the grassy track on the right that climbs towards Créach Caro. Continue until you reach the first crossroads.
(8) Take the first track on the right down to the tarmac road, which you follow straight on towards Traonvéler and up to Meslein. Before the first house on the left, take the small road on the left for about 150 m. Before the houses, follow the track to the right, then the road through the hamlet and take the left-hand road back to Keramanach.

(4) Return to the starting point by the reverse route (S/E).
