Starting point sign, Town Hall Square.
(S/E) Cross the bridge over the Assou stream and begin the ascent of Pic de Lombers by taking the second road on the right.
(1) Pass close to the Pic de Lombers cross, which commemorates the existence of the fortified castle. Continue for several hundred metres.
(2) Continue straight ahead.
Alternative route via Médale by turning right, joining point 4 (6 km route)
(3) After this tarmac section, turn right towards the hamlet of Puech Rouge. The path runs alongside a wooded area. As you cross the fields, you will see a "Pied de Mulet" dovecote.
(4) Turn left onto the road.
(5) Turn right towards Rieu Grand via the path that continues along the edge of the fields and the right bank of the Assou stream.
(6) When you reach the Moulin d'Ambrozy, an authentic flour mill built before the 16th century and beautifully restored, turn left to join the greenway and follow it to the right towards Lombers.
(7) Turn right to return to the starting point (S/E).
