The Salamander Trail in Eppe-Sauvage

Park in the car park at ValJoly station, near the riding centre. Take the footpath running parallel to the Chemin de Nostrimont and the riding centre to reach the start of the walk.

(S/E) Head towards the D133 bis and cross it carefully. Continue straight on along the Chemin de Nostrimont and take the footpath on the left. Follow the signposts and continue straight on.

(1) Turn right onto the path and follow it (it is the only one available) to the left; at the end, at elevation 226, continue to the left. Carry on parallel to the D133.

(2) Cross the D133 and head towards the car park and information point at Bois de Nostrimont; follow the signposts and continue to the right, running parallel to the D133.

(3) At the end, turn left onto the path running closest to the D83 and follow it to the end.

(4) Retrace your steps back to the D133, cross it carefully and return to the junction you passed on the way out.

(2) Carry straight on until you reach the junction from the outward journey.

(1) Then, opposite, follow the route back in the opposite direction to your starting point (S/E).
