Description of the walk

Car park: you can park in front of the town hall or near the church.
Park near Eppe-Sauvage Town Hall.

(S/E) With your back to the town hall, cross the road using the pedestrian crossing, walk past the church on the right and turn left onto Rue de Verdun – Route de Moustier. Cross over the river

(1) Turn right onto Route de Trélon. Walk carefully on the hard shoulder.
After crossing the Helpe Majeure, at the old marble workshop, turn right onto Rue de la Marbrerie. Head towards the hamlet of Grignaux.

(2) Turn onto the small path on the right opposite the house built of brick and blue stone.
Cross the wooden footbridge.
Take the RD83 Rue de Touvent on your left.
Take care and walk on the hard shoulder. You will pass Maillard Castle.
Cross the road carefully and take Rue de Grand Rieu at the oratory.
Turn right onto Chemin du Petit Moulin and head towards the edge of the pond.

(3) Turn right again onto Rue du Petit Moulin, which continues as a path. Go straight on to Saint-Ursmer Chapel.
With your back to the chapel, turn right onto Chemin du Strohaut.
At the junction, turn right onto Rue d’en Haut (D119).
Head towards the road sign at the exit of the village of Eppe-Sauvage.

(4) Take the path leading down to the left and, further on, follow the grassy path on the right.
Walk past the oratory.
Cross the school playground through the two gates, which remain open all year round, except during break times.
If you are passing by at that time, please wait until it opens (10 to 15 mins).
Return to the starting car park (S/E).
