Park in the school car park, 65 Chemin de Beauregard. Other nearby car parks: town square car park, dedicated parking spaces on Allée des Travers.
(S/E) Opposite the Maison du Cairanne, the information board marks the starting point of the walk. Head west towards the town hall. At the first crossroads, turn right onto Chemin des Ormeaux. Here you will find the signpost for the Sentiers du Cairanne, which will guide you throughout your walk. Follow the green markings. At the next crossroads, continue almost opposite Chemin du Valat to reach Chemin de Saint-Génies.
(1) First turn left then right, passing in front of the Cairanne cemetery to reach a dirt track. Opposite the cemetery, stop at the information board to learn more about the history of the village and the Cairanne AOC.
(2) At the crossroads, follow the sign pointing to the left. After a short climb, cross the small wood and walk to the four-way crossroads. Halfway up the hill, discover the unique characteristics of our terroir. Behind you, admire the view of Saint-Vincent Church surrounded by the ramparts of the Old Village.
(3) Follow the sign and continue straight ahead. On your left, admire the view of the castles of the Drôme.
(4) At the hairpin junction, turn left onto the tarmac road and continue to the next intersection.
(5) Leave the tarmac road and follow the dirt track on the right.
(6) Turn right at the fork and follow the path straight ahead to the Col du Débat (altitude 254 m).
(7) Continue towards the sign at Col du Débat, then follow the path on the right. Join a wider path and follow it in the same direction.

(8) Continue downhill on the path in front of you and continue straight ahead until you reach the junction with the Route de Saint-Romain de Malegarde. Enjoy the panoramic view of the village of Cairanne. Learn more about the appellation from the information panel on your left.
(9) Turn right and take the grassy path behind Chemin des Ormeaux.
(10) Go through the gate in the Castri Cairanne ramparts to explore the streets of the Old Village. Follow the street to the right towards the Church of Saint-Vincent, then take the stairs to the Gardens of Cairanne. On the slope, turn left to climb the ramparts. Turn right at the hairpin bend, then left to follow Rue Sainte-Catherine. Then turn right onto Montée du Donjon and left onto Chemin de la Fontaine. At the roundabout, turn right onto Allée des Travers, which leads directly to the Maison du Cairanne and the car park (S/E).
