On leaving Saint Rhémy, at the first hairpin bend, follow Sentiero Italia Tappa 11. After Alpe Ponteille Inferiore, the long climb to the Champillon Pass begins (900 m elevation gain). After the Champillon Pass, the markings are more often "Alta Via N°1" than "TDC". The trail passes by the future Champillon refuge, then Champillon, and then descends through the forest to Ollomont.
Today's stage uses the "TDC" trail, which is also a section of the Alta Via N°1 of the Aosta Valley and the Sentiero Italia Tappa 11.
Hike with a brief description, to be followed with the Visorando app.
